ABOUT US

THE FOUNDER

Kenya is a Licensed Clinical Social worker, School social worker, Yoga teacher and Reiki master.  Kenya has been a school social worker over 10 years in schools in the Chicago area working with adolescents.  Kenya focuses her therapeutic practice on adults 18 and up around issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, perinatal mood disorders.  Kenya is a somatic therapist and believes our issues are in our tissues and uses modalities such as yoga, mindfulness, EMDR and Brainspotting in addition to CBT and DBT to help others. Kenya received her Masters of Social Work from Jane Adams College of Social Work (UIC)​

Meghann Barnes

 

Meghann is passionate about working with adolescents and adults in need of emotional and mental health support. She has experience in dealing with depression, anxiety, anger management and relationship issues, as well as a host of other common concerns.  Meghann utilizes various therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Coaching.

 Meghann is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois, as well as a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). She currently serves as a High School Administrator, as well as a Mental Health Professional. 

​

Meghann Barnes, LPC, NCC has been in the field of Counseling for over 14 years.  She received her Bachelor of Arts from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2002), followed by her Master of Arts in Counseling (2011) and Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (2013) from Concordia University Chicago.

Erin Kelly

 

Erin Kelly is a Licensed School Social Worker and Psychotherapist who has helped children, adolescents, and adults work toward positive change within their lives, families, and relationships. She has provided individual and group therapy using a client-centered approach to meet the client where they are. Erin utilizes CBT, play therapy, strength-based therapy, and mindfulness interventions to assist clients with past and/or current traumas and triggers they may be experiencing. She specializes in anxiety, anger management, depression, emotional regulation, grief and bereavement, social anxiety, and self-esteem difficulties. 

 

Erin received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration and focus around children, adolescents, and families. Since 2018, she has provided social work services at a behavioral hospital, high school, and the private practice setting.
